Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

These terms govern your use of Aura, operated by Josmol Group Inc. By using Aura you agree to them. Please read the two highlighted sections below carefully — they matter more than the rest.

Aura is not a medical device or medical advice

Aura is a wellness and information tool. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. Nothing Aura shows you — including cycle predictions, ovulation confirmations, reliability scores, or health pattern notes — is medical advice.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health. Never delay seeking medical care because of something Aura told you.

Aura is not a contraceptive

This is important. Aura's “Prevent” mode supports fertility awareness — it helps you understand when you may be fertile. It is not a contraceptive, and it is not approved, cleared, or certified as a method of birth control anywhere.

Fertility awareness methods have a meaningful failure rate even when practised perfectly, and a higher one in real-world use. Cycles vary, illness and stress shift ovulation, and no app can eliminate that uncertainty.

If avoiding pregnancy matters to you, do not rely on Aura alone. Use a proven contraceptive method and speak with a healthcare provider about what suits you. If you use Aura for fertility awareness, you do so at your own risk and accept that pregnancy may result.

Who can use Aura

You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you log — Aura's output is only as good as the data you give it.

Your account

You sign in with your phone number. Keep access to that number secure; anyone who can receive your codes can reach your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access.

Messaging

If you opt in, we send check-ins and cycle updates by WhatsApp or SMS. Reply STOP at any time to stop them. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Stopping proactive messages does not close your account or prevent you from messaging Aura.

Ada, our AI companion

Ada generates responses using an AI model. AI can be wrong or incomplete. Treat Ada as an informed companion, not a clinician, and verify anything that matters with a healthcare professional.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Aura for anything unlawful.
  • Attempt to access other users' data, or probe, scan, or breach our systems.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell any part of the service.
  • Impersonate anyone or submit deliberately false information.

Our intellectual property

Aura's software, design, models, and content belong to Josmol Group Inc. Your health data belongs to you — using Aura does not transfer ownership of it to us.

Service availability

We work to keep Aura available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Josmol Group Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Aura — including unintended pregnancy, failure to conceive, or any health outcome. Aura is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time; deletion is permanent. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will notify you before it takes effect. Continuing to use Aura after that means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Users in Nigeria retain any rights granted by Nigerian consumer and data protection law.
